This directory links directly to official state education agency sources. We use state education agencies and state boards of education as the authoritative source of record—not vendor sites, curriculum companies, or secondary summaries.

Standards Classification:

• NGSS Adopted: State explicitly adopted the Next Generation Science Standards by name in official documents
• NGSS-like: Standards based on the NRC Framework for K-12 Science Education with 3-dimensional learning structure (practices, crosscutting concepts, core ideas), but state-written
• Other: Legacy standards or hybrid approaches not based on the Framework
